Patience (1983) is a continuance of the K Group sound, with much the same feel as Enter K. The songwriting is perhaps a touch stronger, making Patience a more consistent album.
Hammill delivers his trademark angst with Patient. Just Good Friends is a touching ballad depicting lovers coming to the realisation that the spark has gone. Other highlights include the musical brawn of Comfortable and the pulsating rhythms of Traintime. |
Overall, a very satisfying album.
